Volunteering Experience in Building Products

Tint&Dye Product supporting local artists

    • In the early 2021, I met a couple of artists who were facing monetary issues oweing to restrictions imposed due to COVID-19 because of which they can’t participate in exhibitions.
    • While Ecommerce website like Amazon lets one list their product on this platform, customers are less likely to pay high price for an acrylic painting when they can have cheaper digital prints.
    • It was clear that I wanted to help them and, hence, I came up with this product idea called "Tint&Dye". This website will host the artwork of local painters and will provide consumers to buy these pieces directly from artists.
    • Our product is astill at nascent stage and we aspire to gain pace with the onboarding of new artists and implementation of new innovative ideas.
    • This product/website will provide artists free platform to list their art-work and target art connoisseurs willing to pay the right price. It will also helps the artists' work reach all corners of the world

Kahaani A social networking platform to tackle social challenges

    • In the year 2020, I ideated this product with my friend for a NGO called "Zuv Foundation"
    • This is a Social Networking Platform which will connect new-generation entrepreneurs, leaders, councellors, medical experts and academic institutions and bodies to the survivors of some of the most heinous crimes like rape, acid-attack, domestic violence.
    • The goal is to provide the survivors rehabilitation (mental, physical and financial support) and employment opportunities with the help of the diverse community of stakeholders.
    • This network will consist of a strong line of passionate human beings, nurtured and loved by each other who intend to create a collective space for growth and security.
    • Why do we need Kahaani ? In India, the number of cases that are being reported pertaining to rape and acid attacks is extremely distressing. Though such cases are increasing at an alarming rate, it is good that such hideous acts are coming to the fore. Sadly, the reported cases form just the tip of the ice-berg. Thousands of cases are not filed as and voices of these survivors are being stifled to save themselves and their families from further dishonor. This breaks them mentally, rendering them weak and vulnerable. It destroys their self-confidence and inner peace which drastically affects their well-being. The least we can do for them is to listen. Being someone, the survivor can confide in, can serve to be a source of strength for the victim. Treating them equally in every sphere and providing them with all the support we can and opportunities will ensure that they don't feel left out and help in regaining their strength.
•Bringing in Social Entrepreneurs - major stakeholder Social entrepreneurs strive to tackle social challenges and build up their business in areas that lack opportunities, it is evident that social entrepreneurship can help the survivors significantly in their journey towards self-emancipation. Social entrepreneurs could address the issue and provide them with education and jobs. Through the power of social entrepreneurship, voices could be heard on a global platform. It will help the survivors get their rights and consequently open a plethora of opportunities in front of them even in the least expected situations. It will give new heights to their dreams and aspirations and ultimately, they will be able to break the existing glass ceiling.
